Responsabilités clés

Client servicing — Handle enquiries from corporate clients for hotel bookings, transfers, car hire, excursions and other leisure services, and prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
Reservations — Make and manage bookings on B2B travel platforms (TBO Holidays and similar), as well as directly with local and international hotels and service providers.
Booking follow-up — Follow up with hotels and suppliers to confirm reservations, reconfirm prior to arrival, action amendments and cancellations, and ensure clients’ bookings are always up to date.
Client interfacing — Serve as the professional interface with corporate clients — by email, telephone and in person — in both English and French, keeping them informed at every stage of their booking.
Administration — Maintain booking records, client files and reports in Excel; track deadlines for options, deposits, payments and reconfirmations.
Product knowledge — Advise clients on hotel products and board bases (e.g.
Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board, All-Inclusive), room categories, cancellation policies and supplier terms and conditions.
Problem-solving — Resolve booking discrepancies, overbookings and on-trip issues promptly, escalating to management where necessary.
Teamwork — Work closely with colleagues across ticketing, accounts and operations, and contribute ideas to improve service and processes.

Compétences clés

Higher School — Certificate (HSC) or equivalent; experience in a similar role
Excellent written and spoken command of both English and French.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy (email, Word, booking systems).
Professional, confident and client-focused manner, with strong attention to detail.
A self-starter who is innovative, well organised and able to work both independently and in a team.

The Tour Operator Consultant is the day-to-day point of contact between Check-In Travel and its corporate clients for hotel accommodation, airport and hotel transfers, car hire and leisure arrangements. The role holder plans, quotes, books and follows up on all such services — primarily through B2B travel platforms such as TBO Holidays — and ensures that every client booking is accurate, confirmed and up to date from enquiry through to check-out.
