Mission principale

The Strategy and Corporate Finance Analyst at ASR plays an important and active role in the business being a core member of the Strategy team, in the implementation of the ASR strategy, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Investor Relations. This role is fast-paced and is ideal for proactive and energetic candidates with a thirst to learn and be involved in multiple projects. Role Responsibilities: Support in defining and implementation of Group strategic objectives, initiatives, and plans • Assist the Head of Strategy & Investor Relations to implement and embed strategic planning practice across ASR • Assist in the execution of the strategic planning process and engage with our core functions across ASR team to ensure key milestones for strategic initiatives are achieved Execution of core strategic initiatives • Assist in the execution of core strategic initiatives which will support the medium to long term growth of the group (such as product expansion and market expansion). This includes: • Conduct economic and sectoral research to identify business opportunities and risks • Proactively pursue sources of data and insight needed to complete analysis in order to make informed business decisions as per management expectations • Synthesise complex information from multiple sources into a coherent narrative • Prepare detailed business plans, including financial projections • Be actively involved in project management, including establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable and tangible plans • Support and partner with relevant stakeholders across ASR • Be actively involved in the preparation of relevant reports, presentations and documentations • Assist in the monitoring of progress across the assigned strategic initiatives and identifying and resolving potential roadblocks • Assist in providing regular updates on the progress of strategic initiatives to the Executive Committee and other relevant committees Corporate Valuation Transaction Advisory and Investor Relations • Assist in the valuation process of the company • Support Strategy Team on transaction advisory, such as target acquisition, including financial modelling, preparing presentations and project management with key ASR stakeholders# • Assist in managing ongoing investor communications, including reporting cycles, updates, and ad hoc requests • Any other reasonable tasks as directed by your manager(s) Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • Qualified or progress towards ICAEW /ACCA/ CFA is a plus • Excellent command of English and French • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills • Excellent quantitative ability with advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills • Excellent financial and analytical skills • Ability to work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment • Strong problem-solving and planning skills • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and meet tight deadlines • Project management skills • Excellent attention to detail • Works collaboratively and establishes trusted relationships • Self-motivated to achieve goals to improve own and company performance • Ability to remain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty • Self-starter, independent and ethical work attitude. • Educated to degree level with relevant Finance and (Re)insurance experience
