Mission principale
The Technical Monitoring Engineer is monitoring assets Health & Performance at our dispatching center in Mauritius. The primary role is to work with team, customers (internal & external) and partners to analyze Asset Condition & Performance monitoring information and generate value added data leads for on-site actions. He/she will also be responsible to create analytics, analysis process, generate preventive and predictive maintenance recommendations or advise on continuous improvement assessment on operations efficiency. Responsabilités clés
- Remote Monitoring Services
- Provide remote monitoring services to BIA operation as per SmartFleet contracts
- Provide timely reports and analysis with added values
- Use preventive maintenance conditions KPIs to monitor and report on customers’ fleet operations
- Define and maintain proactive and complex alerting rules to detected true alarms (using Qlik alerting)
- Provide Saving analysis based on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) simulations
- Advance Analysis crossing Data from various sources to drilldown reports exceptions Maintain & Develop Dashboards
- Maintain & develop Machine Performances dashboards/integrated analysis
- Maintain & develop Machine Health Monitoring/misuse dashboards
- Develop predictive maintenance analysis and strategy from BIA SmartFleet
- Develop ad-hoc dashboards based on business and operations needs New Analysis & Statistical Tools Development
- Develop statistical strategy to quickly highlight data exception
- Support automation and integration of developed Statistical analysis
- Improve available analysis in SmartFleet environment
- Provide consulting services to customers in implementation plans and assessment of SmartFleet Suite solutions
- Training/Coaching
- Organize regular training for operations/businesses & customers
- Train/coach new SmartFleet Analyst
- Keep E-learning module update and/or improve content
- Any other cognate duties
Compétences clés
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent by experience
- Experience with data and statistical analysis preferred
- Good communication skills (Report creation, written and verbal communications)
- Flexible to work in a business, and organization in constant evolution
- Business Intelligence (BI) Software knowledge is an asset (such as QlikSense, Power BI, BO or Tableau)
- Fluent in English both oral and written, French and/or other language skill will be an asset
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience including industrial asset maintenance, machine set-up & diagnostic
- Self-starter with ability to turn objectives into actions and results
- Experience in VHMS, Komtrax, SmartFleet insights and any other OEM machine monitoring tool is a plus.
- Willing to travel on a regular basis in Africa and Europe mainly
