Mission principale

This full-time Project Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Pamplemousses, Mauritius, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Engineer will coordinate and manage grinding mill projects from concept to delivery, including technical design review, project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams, preparing technical documentation, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timeline targets. The role involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, resolving technical issues, and providing input on design optimizations and improvements. The Project Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support after-sales and refurbishment projects as needed.

Compétences clés

• Strong project-focused technical skills, including Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering, relevant to grinding mill or heavy industrial equipment projects.
• Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage professionally with clients and suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in industrial project environments.
• Experience in industrial machinery, mining, manufacturing, or process engineering environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality standards.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including the ability to work independently and manage tasks both on-site and remotely.
