Responsabilités clés

Legal Research and General Legal — Support - Conduct legal research on Mauritian laws, regulations, case law and regulatory requirements. - Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory developments relevant to the activities of the FITCO Group. - Attending to queries from entities within the FITCO Group and provide general legal support.
Drafting and Reviewing of documents - Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements and other legal documentation and maintaining proper records thereof.
Corporate and Global Business — Matters - Assist with corporate, Global Business and other matters relating to entities within the FITCO Group.
Legal Proceedings - Assist with matters involving court cases and other dispute resolution including documentation and follow-up, liaising with external attorneys, barristers and other legal professionals where required. - Assist with maintaining proper records of legal proceedings.
Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent recognised legal qualification. - Knowledge of Mauritian corporate and commercial law, Global Business and financial services regulatory framework. - Knowledge of the Hospitality sector would be an advantage. - Previous legal, corporate, compliance or Global Business experience would be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies — The successful candidate should demonstrate: - Good legal research and analytical skills. - Good understanding of basic corporate and commercial legal principles. - Ability to review and understand contracts and other legal documents. - Ability to work under pressure, willingness to do overtime when required, - Ability to work independently and in a team Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications by email to [email protected].
