Company Overview
FoodWise is the pioneer in the fight against food waste and food insecurity in Mauritius. Founded in 2018, we are a non-profit social enterprise that supports the actors in the Mauritian agro-food industry to reduce food waste while creating a direct impact on the ground through the redistribution of food to our network of partner NGOs.
Over the past 5 years, nearly 5 million meals have been redistributed, which represents almost 1 million kilos of food that were not thrown away! Joining FoodWise means being part of a human adventure with a strong social and environmental purpose, centered around our motto: “to save food to empower people and protect our planet.”

Work environment
We work in a "start-up" environment that moves at lightning speed and changes every day. No two days are alike, and everything happens quickly.
