PILS (Prévention Information Lutte Contre le SIDA)

Prévention Information Lutte contre le Sida (PILS) has been around for 25 years. In its early days, the local association advocated for the fundamental right to treatment for people living with HIV. Today, it is an internationally recognized non-governmental organization (NGO) focusing on key populations in Mauritius and on the care of people living with HIV and viral hepatitis. PILS also has a regional presence through the Indian Ocean Coalition Plus Platform and a global reach through the Coalition PLUS network.

Achieve social change to prevent new HIV, STI, and HCV infections, and ensure that the rights of key populations are upheld.

Support people living with HIV and those more vulnerable to HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and hepatitis C virus so they can enjoy a life free from stigma and discrimination, with their fundamental rights respected. Ensure they have access to quality healthcare.

Our process is as follows, we begin with a discovery call, followed by an interview with a team member, and ending with a company immersion to give you a full understanding of working at PILS.

PILS has over forty employees dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with HIV, STIs, and HCV. To enhance the effectiveness of its actions, the organization has reorganized its internal structure by incorporating departmental directors and an executive committee.
