Key responsibilities
- Product and Channel Development
- Support the development and management of digital channels and payment products, covering design, launch, adoption, optimisation and enhancement.
- Assist in identifying product and channel improvement opportunities to enhance customer experience, business performance and operational efficiency.
- Support the lifecycle management of products and digital channels, including enhancement, migration and rationalisation where required.
- Project Coordination and Delivery
- Coordinate and deliver assigned projects and initiatives within Cards & Payments, ensuring proper planning, follow-up, execution and reporting.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure that project deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines, budget and scope.
- Prepare project updates, follow-up reports and escalation points for management review.
- Sales, Adoption and Business Growth
- Drive acquisition, activation, usage growth and merchant enablement across digital channels and payment products.
- Support initiatives aimed at increasing card issuance, wallet registrations, digital channel usage and merchant acquiring growth.
- Work with Consumer Sales, Marketing and other business units to support campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Pricing, Commercials and Business Cases
- Assist in defining pricing, MDR, interchange and business models for cards and e-commerce acquiring.
- Support the preparation of business cases, commercial proposals, product papers and performance reports.
- Contribute to revenue growth, cost efficiency and overall profitability of the Cards & Payments Business.
- Campaigns and Customer Engagement
- Work with Marketing to implement campaigns aimed at increasing adoption, usage and customer engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance, customer value propositions, adoption levels and return on investment.
- Recommend improvements to strengthen customer engagement and product performance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor product and channel performance, including activation, transaction volumes, spend per card, digital adoption and merchant activity.
- Identify gaps, issues and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure quality and timely preparation of reports, dashboards, business updates and stakeholder follow-up.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Work closely with Digital Support, Card Operations, IT, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, Consumer Sales and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and operational alignment.
- Liaise with Visa, Mastercard, MIPS, ICPS, fintech partners, merchants, vendors and service providers to support product development, service delivery and market initiatives.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Ensure that product and channel initiatives are implemented in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements, risk standards and agreed governance processes.
- Support the preparation of documentation required for approvals, reviews, audits, risk assessments and compliance purposes.
- Escalate risks, issues and dependencies to the Head of Cards & Payments Business, where required.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Digital Banking, Payments, or any other related field.
- A professional qualification or certification in project management, product management, digital banking, cards, payments or fintech would be an advantage.
- Minimum Experience / Knowledge
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in banking, fintech, cards, payments, digital channels, product management or related areas.
- Experience in product development, digital channel management, project coordination, sales enablement or merchant acquiring would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and exposure to card issuing, ATMs, Internet & Mobile Banking, wallets, QR payments, POP / Bank One Pay and merchant acquiring.
- Experience working with schemes, vendors, fintech partners, merchants or service providers would be beneficial.
- Good understanding of regulatory, operational, risk and governance requirements applicable to banking and payments.

Purpose of the Job To support and drive the development, growth and commercial performance of digital channels and payment products across Cards, ATMs, Internet & Mobile Banking, Wallets, QR, POP / Bank One Pay, and Merchant Acquiring. The role is responsible for coordinating product development, sales initiatives, channel adoption and selected projects under the Cards & Payment Business. It also supports the lifecycle management of products and digital channels, from design and launch through to optimisation, enhancement and migration to improved solutions where required.
