Junior Software Engineer

Main mission

The Junior Software Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software components and web applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, fixing bugs, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. The role involves working with back-end services, APIs, and data structures, as well as learning new tools and frameworks aligned with project needs. The Junior Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement features, support deployments, and improve overall system performance and reliability. This is a full-time remote role.

Key skills

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Software Development and Programming using at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Back-End — Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented — Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles to real-world problems.
• Relevant degree, bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and accept constructive feedback in a team setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to remote collaboration.
